The Bird, Broome Beach, and A Brewery
Tarangau Caravan Park, Broome
Today was very much a recharge day, which we both valued and probably needed.
First, I finished my bird - see below. Inspired by the jabiru bird that we saw on our Kununarra cruise (a jabiru is the common name for a black-necked stork). Its quite large (about 1m high and 2m long) so not quite sure where it will fit to get it home- another thing for the shower perhaps, which has basically become our storeroom....

Second, I went to the beach. The waves werent great for boogie boarding this time, but I had a refreshing swim in the incredibly clear water, and then treated myself to lunch in a cafe on the way home.

Third, we both went to the Spinifex Brewery, just up the road, for beers and dinner.
| Spinifex Brewery. Nice place to drink beer and eat pizza |
Altogether, very relaxing day today. Ready for moving on tomorrow!
