Pardoo roadhouse, en route from Broome to Karratha
Super quick blog tonight because I have been designing a logo and business cards….

I wrote to the art gallery in Kojonup today about selling some of my glass in her shop. The owner, Jill, has said yes (yay!) and particularly liked the cacti and spotty bowls (weirdly not what I would have chosen). But she needs things made for the 27th September for the Great Southern Art Trail, which is not much time! It occurred to me I better get some business cards to go with the pieces so I’ve designed and ordered some this evening - under $50 for 100! They are a bit rushed but should suffice for the moment.
For anyone interested, my glass website is sharonparkerglass.com
I must confess the website doesn’t work well on a phone (yet) but should be okay on a lap top computer. Let me know if any problems!!
We had a very good drive here - all went smoothly! Increasingly, lots of lovely wild flowers on the road; strange people staying next to us (a 'spiritual healer' for instance); and a decent tavern for dinner. Oh and Mark has an interview with a US radio station about his music at 7am tomorrow morning!

| Hundreds of white cockatoos at sunset |

| Two years ago, this roadhouse was obliterated in a cyclone |
 |
| I though this sign in the tavern was remarkably astute |
 |
| I like this sign too, especially as I have an academic paper called "That's not my job!" |
